Participation rules

The “ Win ​​2 tickets for Kooza ” competition (hereinafter the “ Competition ”) is organized by BiOSS (hereinafter “ the Organizer ”) and runs from May 16, 2022 8:30 a.m. ET to May 30, 2022 11:59 p.m. ET , deadline for participation.

The Organizer reserves the right to allow each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, advertising or promotion agencies (the “ Agents ”) to perform all or part of the necessary acts within the framework of this Competition.

1. ELIGIBILITY

This competition is open to any natural person residing in Quebec who has reached the age of majority.

However, employees, representatives of the Organizer, its advertising agencies, as well as members of their immediate family, their legal or de facto spouse, and all persons with whom these employees, representatives and agents are domiciled are excluded.

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

No purchase required. To participate in the Competition, the participant must read these rules, like the publication, write in comments under the publication with whom they would like to see the Kooza show during the competition period (a “Participation”), share the publication with your friends during the contest period (one more “Entry”).

The chances of winning depend on the total number of Participants.

All entries become the property of the Organizer and will not be returned.

3. PRICE

Win 2 electronic tickets for the Kooza show in Montreal on June 23, 2022.

4. DRAW

The prize will be awarded to the winning person (the “ Winner ”) at random electronically from among all eligible entries received in connection with this Contest.

The draw will take place on May 31, 2022 at 11 ET, at the BiOSS head office, at 4400 Autoroute Chomedey, 13 Ouest A, Laval, Quebec H7R 6E9.

In order to be declared a Winner, the selected participant must comply with all the criteria set out under the “CLAIMS PRIZES” section and their participation must be validated by the Organizer .

5. CLAIMING PRIZES

A representative of the Organizer will inform the selected Participant by private message on Instagram within two (2) days following the draw. If BiOSS was unable to contact the Participant whose name was drawn within 7 days of the drawing, using reasonable means, a new drawing will take place in the same offices.

Following the drawing, in the event that a person does not comply with the requirements of these Participation Rules, is not eligible for the Contest or their participation is invalid, they will be disqualified, and another drawing will be held. place, until an eligible person is drawn and can be declared a winner.

To claim their prize and to be declared a Winner, the selected Participant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and sign and return the Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with these Participation Rules within ten (10 ) business days from the date the Selected Participant received the Declaration and Release Form for signature.

The prize will be delivered to the Winner, at the expense of the Organizer for all provinces of Canada. However, remote areas as defined by Canada Post will be subject to additional charges.

6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entries that are altered, falsified, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, photocopied or mechanically reproduced, or submitted by fraudulent means may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Promoter. This includes any entry that does not comply with these Entry Rules in all respects.

By participating in this Competition, the Participant releases the Organizer, its officers, directors and partners, including its advertising and promotion agencies, as well as their employees, agents and representatives, from any direct or indirect liability, bodily or material arising from their participation in the Competition, as well as the acceptance and/or use of the prize(s) and fully release the Organizer, its promotion agencies, and any other party from any claims, demands or proceedings that may be alleged against them or any of them, now or hereafter, by the Participants, their heirs, executors or administrators, in relation to the Competition or the prize(s).

The Winner agrees that his or her name, image, age, photograph, location, voice, testimonial and/or statement may be used in whole or in part by the Organizer, its advertising agencies, and any other parties involved in the activities. development, production and distribution of material relating to the Competition , for any purpose, through any present or future media, including social media, in any jurisdiction, and in any manner without any compensation and without any approval additional payment from the Winner . No correspondence will be entered into with any person other than the Winner.

The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot under any circumstances be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged in whole or in part for a sum of money, subject to what is provided in the following paragraph . In the event that, for reasons beyond its control and unrelated to the Winner, the Organizer cannot award the prize as described in these Participation Rules, it reserves the right to award a prize of same nature and equivalent value or, at its sole discretion, the value of the prize indicated in these Participation Rules in cash.

The formal or deemed refusal of a prize by the Winner releases the Organizer from any obligation linked to this prize towards that person.

The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw this Competition or to modify, amend, change or supplement these Participation Rules, subject to applicable legislation. The Organizer also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Competition in the event that an event or cause beyond its control that could corrupt or affect the administration occurs, the security, impartiality or conduct of the Competition, as provided for in these Participation Rules.

Any attempt to damage the Contest Instagram Account or any other Contest-related website, or the legitimate operation of this Contest, is a violation of criminal and civil laws. In such cases, the Organizer has the right to seek damages to the extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, nor associated with, Instagram. All Participants acknowledge by entering the Competition that they are providing their information to the Organizer and not to Instagram. Each Participant in the Competition releases Instagram from all liability. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition should be directed to the Competition organizer and not to Instagram.

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
